OMS Platform
3,610 active material grades pre-loaded on day one — mechanical properties, chemical composition, Charpy impact data, and fastener acceptance criteria — linked directly to test records for automatic pass/fail determination.
No manual entry. No spec lookup. No risk of applying the wrong revision. The Acceptance Criteria Database is built into OMS, maintained by our team, and covers AS, ASTM, API, ISO, EN, and BS standards.

The Problem It Solves
Setting up acceptance criteria is one of the most time-consuming parts of any LIMS or inspection software implementation. OMS eliminates it entirely.
Days of manual entry
Every grade, every property, every element limit entered by hand — then reviewed and updated every time a standard is revised.
Wrong revision risk
A technician applies AS 3678 Grade 350 limits from an old version of the standard. The current version has tighter requirements. The error isn't caught until assessment.
Inconsistent criteria
Different technicians look up the same grade from different sources. Different acceptance criteria. Different pass/fail calls. An audit trail that doesn't hold up.
OMS ships with the Acceptance Criteria Database already built and maintained. Select the grade — the criteria come with it.
What's Included
Selecting a grade links it to all applicable sub-databases simultaneously — mechanical limits, composition, and impact criteria in a single lookup.
3,610 grades
26,111 records — 2,699 grades
4,200 records — 1,472 grades
AS 4291, ASTM A193/A194, ISO 898
Standards Coverage
65% of grades are Australian Standards — covering the full range of AS structural, pressure equipment, fastener, casting, and pipe specifications that NATA-accredited labs test against daily.
Australian Standards — structural steel, pressure vessels, fasteners, castings, pipe and tube
A-series plate, pipe, fasteners, fittings — A36, A106, A193, A307, A537, and more
Joint Australian/New Zealand — structural, electrical, pressure equipment
ISO 3506 fasteners, ISO 4957 tool steel, ISO 9328 pressure vessel plate
EN 10025 structural, EN 10216/10217 pressure tube and pipe, BS PD 970
API 5L line pipe grades (X42–X80), API 5CT casing and tubing
AWS, SAE, DIN, GB/T, AMS, Lloyd's, Inconel, Bisalloy, and proprietary grades
How It Works
The technician types the grade into the test record — a type-to-search field queries the Acceptance Criteria Database instantly.
OMS pulls mechanical limits, chemical composition, and Charpy requirements and embeds them directly into the test record.
Test results entered are compared against the grade's acceptance criteria in real time. Out-of-spec values are flagged before the report is generated.
The grade, criteria, and source standard document are recorded against the result — a complete traceability chain from result back to standard.
ISO/IEC 17025 Clause 7.2 — Acceptance criteria must be defined and traceable
ISO/IEC 17025 requires acceptance criteria to be defined before testing begins and traceable to the applicable standard or specification. The OMS Acceptance Criteria Database provides source-documented, standard-linked criteria for every pre-loaded grade — automatically embedded in the test record and preserved in the audit trail. No manual lookup, no citation gaps.
We'll show you how grade selection, automatic criteria population, and pass/fail determination work for your specific material types and test methods.
