We're looking for a solid Java backend developer to build and scale the core OMS platform — the engine behind job management, test reporting, calibration tracking, and NABL-compliant workflows for hundreds of accredited labs. You'll work on real-world problems in a domain where correctness isn't optional.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for core OMS modules — job management, reporting, calibration, and compliance
- Write clean, well-tested, production-ready Java code using Spring Boot
- Optimise database queries and data models for performance and traceability
- Collaborate with frontend developers and domain specialists to deliver complete features
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical architecture decisions
- Maintain and improve existing services with a focus on reliability and scalability
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL / PostgreSQL) and query optimisation
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and code review practices
- Understanding of authentication and authorisation (JWT, OAuth2)
- Knowledge of MongoDB is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
