The OMS CAPAR feature provides structured management of Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions — from initial non-conformance identification through root cause analysis, action assignment, implementation verification, and final closure.

Each CAPAR is linked to the originating event — an NCR, audit finding, customer complaint, or equipment failure — ensuring full traceability from cause to resolution. Objective evidence attachments, photographs, and supporting documents are stored against each record.

Due dates and escalation rules are configurable per CAPAR type and severity. Overdue actions trigger automated notifications to responsible personnel and their supervisors, ensuring nothing falls through the gaps before the next audit.
