QA Engineer — Automation Testing
Full-time Bengaluru (Hybrid) · 3–5 years
We're looking for an automation-focused QA Engineer to build and scale the OMS test suite. As the platform grows across more lab types, standards, and markets, manual testing alone can't keep pace. You'll design the automation framework that gives the team confidence to ship faster without sacrificing quality.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain an automated regression suite for the OMS platform
- Implement end-to-end test automation for critical workflows — job creation, test reporting, calibration records, and certificate generation
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous quality gates
- Work with the manual QA team to identify high-value test cases for automation
- Perform API automation testing alongside UI test coverage
- Analyse test failures, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers on fixes
- Maintain test data, environment configuration, and reporting dashboards
Requirements
- 3–5 years of QA experience with a focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Strong scripting skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python for test automation
- Experience with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration for automated test runs (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Experience with API automation testing (REST Assured, Postman Newman, or similar)
- Understanding of Page Object Model and other automation design patterns
- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Gherkin) preferred
