Built by people who
ran the labs

OMS Software exists because its founder spent decades inside testing laboratories — and got tired of managing audits on spreadsheets. This is the story of why we built it, and who we are.

Mission-critical by design. For labs running on OMS, the system isn't a tool alongside the business — it is the business. If OMS stops, operations stop. That's not a risk; that's how deeply embedded the platform becomes.

The Platform

LIMS + ERP + QMS — One Cloud System

OMS Software is a cloud-based enterprise platform designed with direct input from NDT industry specialists in Australia. It brings together everything a testing, inspection, and calibration lab needs — accessible anytime, by owners, managers, technicians, and clients alike.

The technology behind OMS was first built in-house at LMATS to run its own NATA-accredited labs, then spun out and registered as an independent business, OMS Software, in 2019 — meaning the platform has been refined through real accreditation cycles, NATA assessments, and thousands of test reports for over 12 years.

Founder's Story

Pranay Wadyalkar —
MD & Business Advisor

Born and raised in one of the slum-like localities in India, Pranay studied Metallurgy and joined Tata Motors — spending seven years in automotive manufacturing. After immigrating to Australia in 2001, he took the first lab job he was offered and fell into the TIC sector "inadvertently."

As a migrant driven by "necessity for survival," he learned every discipline — Metallurgy, mechanical testing, chemical testing, ceramics, occupational hygiene, NDT, welding procedures — while climbing the management ladder and studying at RMIT University concurrently.

In 2008, he founded LMATS — a Testing, Inspection & Certification business that grew rapidly across Australia. It was during LMATS's growth that he identified the critical gap: no ERP system existed for laboratories compliant with ISO 17025/17020. That realisation sparked OMS Software.

Industry Leadership

Federal President, AINDT

While building LMATS, Pranay donated thousands of volunteer hours to the Australian Institute for NDT (AINDT) — progressing from Victoria branch council member to Federal President, then International voting delegate at ICNDT and APFNDT.

"There is greater 'Demand' than the available 'Source' in TIC. OMS was built so the system can guide and assist less experienced personnel — who eventually become high quality skilled professionals."

The team behind OMS

JC

Jayant Chandavarkar

CEO, OMS Software

At OMS Software, our mission is to empower laboratories and inspection agencies to achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance. We're building a unified digital platform that simplifies the everyday challenges of managing systems aligned with ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, and ISO 9001.

These standards demand traceability, transparency, and accountability. OMS turns those principles into living workflows — automating processes, maintaining 10-year data integrity, and ensuring every record remains audit-ready.

Built by practitioners, refined through experience, and trusted by laboratories across India and Australia — OMS Software is shaping the digital future of conformity assessment.

ON

Onkar Naik

CTO, OMS Software

At OMS Software, our goal is to make technology work quietly behind the scenes — so laboratories can focus on precision, not process. I lead our engineering vision to build a platform that reflects the discipline of ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, and ISO 9001, yet feels effortless to use.

We call this approach compliance by design. Every workflow, audit log, and report format is developed to meet accreditation requirements from day one — not as an afterthought.

Our development team blends domain knowledge from real-world testing and calibration labs with modern software engineering — resulting in a secure, stable, and continually evolving system.
